Astrology has also been considered to be a type of science that deals with a number of type of astrology signs. This science of astrology deals with the conveying of information and establishing a conclusion based on the predictions. Astrology may be defined as a study that is the combination of beliefs and tradition collated with the knowledge of the heavenly bodies and their motion that ultimately affect the lives of the living beings on the earth. There are generally three types of astrology.

Firstly, the type of astrology may include the Vedic Astrology. This type of astrology begins on the day when an individual is born. This astrology takes into consideration the positions of the planets and stars at the time of the birth of the baby and hence predicts the future and the overall characteristics present in his personality. The personality of the person born reflects the characteristics based on the four elements that is air, water, fire and earth. Earth represents the character of the person being grounded, while fire depicts the spontaneity, water depicts the creativity in an individual, while air reflects the intellectual ability of the person.

Secondly, the Chinese Astrology is a type of astrology. This type of astrology is based on the cycle of sixty years in which each year represents certain phase. The phases may be categorized into two. The first one that is a bit uncommon consists of the five elements that may include fire, earth, water, metal and wood. The second cycle is the most common one that contains twelve animals in it that represents the twelve months of the year. The twelve animals may include rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and the pig.
Thirdly, the type of astrology also includes the Aztec Astrology. It is considered to be the most complex but unique type of astrology. It was actually created by the astrologers belonging to Mesoamerica during the 600 B.C. It is measured in terms of the sunrise and sunset. The cycle of this type of astrology is different as it does not occur in accordance with the seven days forming a week cycle or the thirty days forming a month cycle. This is depicted on the basis of nine days, thirteen days and twenty days cycle.
